Introduction

Spectral sequence is a powerful tool widely used in different branches of modern mathematics. It plays a crucial role in homological algebra, algebraic topology and algebraic geometry etc. Nowadays, it should be mastered by any master students in the relative domains. This lecture is devoted to present the foundation and applications of it.
